Day 1
You will be transferred from your hotel to Sharm airport for your flight to Cairo where your tour begins. Your Egyptologist will be on hand at the airport to meet and assist you
Visit the Egyptian Museum, the largest museum in Egypt which houses over 120,000 artifacts from ancient Egypt. You will have the opportunity to explore some of the highlights of the Museum such as the Royal Mummy room, the Animal Mummy room and the gold treasures room of Tutankhamun where you will see his famous gold mask. Please note there is an extra ticket fee if you wish to enter the Royal Mummy room.
After visiting the Museum it’s time to get away from the hustle and bustle of Downtown Cairo with a sail on the River Nile . This is a great opportunity to relax, unwind and enjoy life on the Nile. After your sail you will enjoy lunch at one of the best authentic restaurants in Cairo with a Nile view.

Visit the Giza Plateau, home of the famous Pyramids and Sphinx. Enjoy
the beautiful panoramic views of the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Khafre
and Menkaure which are surrounded by the Sahara Desert. Take your
photos or ride on camel or horseback through the sand dunes which lay
beside the monumental pyramid complex. Please note there is an extra ticket fee if you wish to enter the pyramids or visit the Solar Museum.

Day 2
After
breakfast at your hotel you will visit the Saladin Citadel. The
Citadel is an old fortress build by Salah el-Din Al Ayoubi, founder of
the Ayyubid Dynasty (1171 – 1250). It encompasses the mosques of
Mohammed Ali and Sultan Qalawun and houses the Police and Military
Museums. Situated on an area of Muqattam Hill the Citadel offers
visitors grand views over Cairo and is a great spot for taking photos of
the City, the Nile and even the Pyramids.
Sample popular dishes such as Foul (fava beans), Falafel (chickpeas with spices) and Babaganoush (eggplant dip), during your lunch which will be served in one of Cairo’s most famous restaurants, Felfela.
After lunch you will explore the streets of Coptic Cairo and Old Cairo. This is an opportunity to see how the past and the present work together and how different faiths live and mix in Cairo. You will visit: The Hanging Church,The Church of Abu Serga, Ben Ezra’s Temple and Amr Ben Elaas Mosque.
- Transfer to Cairo airport for your return flight to Sharm el Sheikh. Our representative will meet and assist you upon arrival at Sharm airport and transfer you to your hotel.
Notes :
-As this tour starts early we advise that you ask your Sharm hotel to provide you with a breakfast box for your journey.- Pick up from your hotel to Sharm airport will be 2 hours prior to your flight departure.
